The jury has set the following criteria for the assessment of the poems and will assign 1 to 3 points to each of the criteria.
1. Theme
Is Edgar Allan Poe’s theme ‘The Raven’ well portrayed?
2. Emotion
Is there enough emotion: joy, sadness, fear, anger, surprise or disgust in it
3. Audience
Is it difficult, understandable or is it simple beautifully written?
4. Personality
Is the personality of the poet (masculine, feminine, neuter and common) reflected in the poem?
5. Technique
Which technique or no technique has been used.
