From 2021 to 2023, our festival was known as the LA Poetry Beach Festival. Starting in 2024, we have rebranded as Poetry Downtown. The only change is that we now begins and ends our poetry festival in the city where the featured poet was born and died, rather than holding it annually in Los Angeles.
