Poetry Train we pick you up!
Poetry Downtown picks poets with the Poetry Train at home. In 2021 we had no Poetry Train. In 2022 I decided to bring more poets to our festival with the poetry train 2022 honoring Charles Bukowski. In 2023 I organised the poetry train again and we started in Boston as we decided to start our festival and it’s poetry train in the city of birth of the poet we honor till the city of death. That year we honored Sylvia Plath. After the festival I went to @heptonstall to read to Sylvia personally all poem people wrote to her. In 2022 I read all poems to Charles at the cemetry in Green Hills, CA. This year we honor Edgar Allan Poe and that’s why the Poetry Train and our festival starts in Boston and ends in Baltimore.
